Reason Purchased: "I Can't Breakaway" was always a favorite song of mine ever since Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (You remember the cool opening title sequence of the time capsule being lowered into place? That was the song that played during it.) I had always wanted to try out their album at the time, and never got around to it until now.

Opinions: I should have at the time. I would have loved this album in 1988. As it is, now it feels... well, like I should have been listening to it in 1988. This is very wierd to me, I've never had this kind of reaction before.

BTR Singles added to playlist: Undecided as of 9-11-02. "Nation" and "Charlie" stood out to me, and others were pretty good, but I think I'm going to have to listen to this one a few more times before I decide where I want to go with it. (And of course, "Breakaway" and various remixes of it have already been on the playlist for years.)
